Garff’s new sewage system will follow two main routes before the treated water is pumped out to sea.
Manx Utilities has released details of its plans which include a treatment works in Axnfell Plantation.
It released details of the plans to Garff Commissioners at a meeting last week, a meeting which Manx Utilities described as “constructive”.
The list of works needed for the site include Ballacollister, Cairn, Garwick Glen, Killkellan, where works will be complete near the MER tracks, and Telephone Exchange.
Manx Utilities said it has been unable to reveal the plans until now “due to agreements with landowners not being in place and the pipeline routes”.
Public information events are planned for both Baldrine and Laxey in late November at the Sailing Club on November 27 and Baldrine Church Hall on November 28.
