One of the founders of Manx Powerlifting, Lisa Grant has become a three time British Champion as well as securing her the deadlift record of 190.5kg.
Lisa competed at the British Masters Championships on June 9 in Belfast.
The British Masters Championships is a competition for all those competing in Powerlifting over the age of 40.
She competed in the 76kg category as an Masters 1 lifter and achieved remarkable results.
Powerlifting
A powerlifting competition consists of three squats, three bench press and three deadlifts.
Lisa successfully completed all three lifts in each discipline, ending in a nine for nine competition.
She placed first with a 125kg squat, 72.5kg Bench Press and 190.5kg deadlift, and has now become a two times British Champion.
Most incredibly on the day Lisa’s 190.5kg deadlift secured her the deadlift record in her category.
