A section of road between Ballig and Cronk y Voddy will close next week for hedge and verge‑cutting works.
The road will shut to through traffic on Monday and Tuesday between 9.30am and 3.30pm, with the Department saying the timing has been chosen to avoid peak travel periods.
Access will remain available for residents and businesses. Properties between Ballig and Glen Helen can be reached from St John’s and Ballig, while those between Cronk y Voddy and Sarah’s Cottage will be accessible from Cronk y Voddy and Kirk Michael.
The closure is required due to reduced sight lines along the stretch from Ballig to Creg Willy’s Hill while the work is carried out.
