The Police are asking people to avoid the area of Dhoon Glen Tram Stop due to an “ongoing incident”.
As well as as asking the public to avoid the area, the Police said the road “may be blocked for sometime”.
A video shows a van on fire blocking the road which appears to be the cause of the disruption.
An update will be issued when the road is open again.
