Making the Sea Terminal Less Grim Again

Isle of Man Sea Terminal in Douglas

Improvement works are set to begin at the Sea Terminal next month, as part of ongoing efforts to make it look nicer.

The programme of works will commence on Monday March 23 and is expected to be completed by Thursday April 30.

The improvements will focus on refreshing and upgrading internal areas of the terminal to create a more welcoming, accessible and functional environment.

Works include flooring upgrades, internal painting, new signs and replacing internal doors. There is no word on whether the leaky roof or mould on the King Edward VIII Pier walkway will be sorted.

The project is being delivered through a collaborative approach between Visit Isle of Man and the Department of Infrastructure.

As part of the planned renovations, bicycle racks at the Sea Terminal will be removed by Friday March 20. Members of the public are kindly asked to collect their bikes before this date.
