Man dies following Harbour Road RTC

The Isle of Man Constabulary have confirmed that 29 year old Jordan Thomas has died following a road traffic collision (RTC).

The RTC happened on Sunday, February 25, in the area of Harbour Road in Onchan at approximately 7.45pm.

The force would like to pass its condolences to the family and friends of Mr Thomas, and respectfully request that the public refrain from speculating as to the causation of the collision at this time.

Temporary Chief Inspector Craig, leading the enquiry, has said “Enquiries into this investigation are continuing and we thank the public for their assistance. My sincere condolences are with family and friends of Mr Thomas at this difficult time.

“This investigation is ongoing and I would urge people to refrain from speculation as to the circumstances of the collision. I can confirm that a person has been charged in regards to this matter. I would ask the privacy of all is respected at this time.”

As the investigation continues, the force asks that any witnesses who were in the area of Harbour Road, Onchan on Sunday, February 25 between 7pm and 8pm, who feel they may have any information which may assist us and who are yet to be spoken to by Police, to please make contact with them at Police Headquarters on (01624) 631212 quoting reference number 97/2072/24, or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
