The Steam Packet has confirmed that today’s Manannan sailings will go ahead.
It follows two days of cancellations due to a broken generator.
With local staff working to replace the generator with a spare unit kept onshore, the company also brought in specialist electrical engineers are being flown in to assist with diagnostics and repairs.
In its latest update, the company said that the morning sailing to and return from Dublin will sail as planned.
It said: “We are pleased to inform passengers, the technical issue has been resolved onboard Manannan and this sailing will depart as scheduled.”
However, its Liverpool sailing will be about an hour behind schedule.
Passengers on the 3pm sailing are now asked to check in no later than 3:15pm for a 4pm departure, while the 7:15pm departure from Liverpool will now be at 8:15pm.
Passengers are asked to check in by 7:30pm.
