The Steam Packet has announced that Manannan will sail as planned this morning.
Engineers worked through the night to fix an issue with the fast craft’s generators.
After leaving Douglas and being forced to return shortly after on Thursday morning, the rest of the day’s Liverpool sailings were cancelled.
However, this morning the company said: “We are pleased to advise passengers that testing has been successful overnight and this sailing will depart as scheduled.”
Manannan will leave Douglas at 7:15am, arriving in Liverpool for about 10am before leaving Merseyside at 11:15am.
The later 3pm and 7:15pm sailings will also go ahead as planed.
