Manx National Heritage will reopen its historic visitor attractions for the 2026 season from Friday.
Sites including the Great Laxey Wheel, Castle Rushen, Peel Castle, the Nautical Museum, Cregneash, Rushen Abbey and the Grove Museum will welcome visitors again.
Guided tours of Castletown’s historic sites will also return on selected dates, covering the Nautical Museum, Old House of Keys and Old Grammar School.
Tours must be booked in advance through the MNH website.
Sites to Reopen
Pauline Wall, Head of Operations, said reopening the seasonal sites was “always a highlight of the year” and praised the work of staff and volunteers preparing for the season.
A programme of events, exhibitions and activities will run across spring, summer and autumn, with extended opening hours at the Great Laxey Wheel during peak months.
MNH says many sites can also accommodate group and cruise‑ship visits with advance arrangements.
New visitor hubs in Castletown and Laxey are due to open in early summer, offering retail, ticketing and information services.
