Manx trio to compete at FIM International Six Day Enduro in Argentina

Jed Etchells, Jamie McCanney and Max Ingham

Jed Etchells, the newly crowned FIM Junior Enduro World Champion, Jamie McCanney and Max Ingham are to compete at the FIM International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) in San Juan, Argentina.

McCanney and Etchells were part of the British team that won the ISDE last year – the first time for Great Britain in 69 years. The pair will once again be part of the Men’s British Team with Nathan Watson and Alex Snow.

This will be Max Ingham’s first ISDE and he’ll be part of the Junior British team alongside Charlie Chater and Harry Edmondson.

Energy FM spoke to Max Ingham ahead of the longest running off-road motorcycle race on the FIM calendar, he said:

“When the event starts the mechanic can have no intervention on the bike so after each day the rider has to change front and rear tires and fix anything that has broken. It’s a real test of man and machine.”

The entry list for the event features many of the world’s best enduro riders from across the globe. In total, over 340 competitors will begin this year’s race and 79 Club Teams compete in San Juan.
