For the first time in five years, passengers will be able to sail to Liverpool in winter with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
Manxman will be operating the sailings to Liverpool on Saturdays and Sundays over the winter months.
According to the Steam Packet’s website Manxman will start sailing to the new terminal in Liverpool on November 9.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is also launching Weekend Theatre Break packages from December.
Winter Liverpool Trips
The package offers passengers a return ferry trip to Liverpool, theatre tickets to popular shows, and accommodation all bundled into a package through Steam Packet Holidays.
“We are always looking for innovative ways to enhance our passengers’ travel experiences so we are excited to combine live theatre with the convenience and comfort of our ferry service, making it easier than ever to enjoy a cultural escape,” said Brian Thomson, Managing Director of IOMSPC.
“We’ve received a lot of positive feedback for our Steam Packet Holidays day excursions and passengers wanted to see more package breaks so we’re pleased to expand our offering.”
The first Weekend Theatre Break takes place on December 14 where passengers can enjoy the spectacular Aladdin.
