A Ramsey MHK has asked the Chief Minister for details of government recruitment since the Recruitment Control Framework was introduced.
In the questions, Lawrie Hooper MHK asks how many jobs or roles have been filled by each government department under the framework’s exemptions, and what those roles were.
He is also requesting details of any posts filled by departments that were not covered by the exemptions, along with the roles involved.
In addition, Mr Hooper is asking how many proposed jobs or roles have been refused by the Recruitment Authority Panel, and which posts were affected.
The questions also seek an estimate of the cost of implementing the Recruitment Control Framework, including the amount of officer time involved and any additional costs incurred.
