Minister Details Road Repairs in Onchan

The Infrastructure Minister has outlined the most recent inspection dates and repair work carried out on road surfaces around King Edward Road and Ashley Park.

In response to questions from Onchan MHK Rob Callister, the Minister Tim Crookall confirmed that King Edward Road underwent its last annual inspection on February 2, 2026. No safety‑critical defects were identified during that survey.

However, repair crews were dispatched on four occasions in the weeks that followed, with work completed on February 3, February 17, March 3 and March 17, 2026 across various locations.

In a separate question, Mr Callister asked for the same information regarding Ashley Park.

Minister Crookall reported that the most recent annual inspection there took place on September 19, 2025, again with no safety‑critical issues recorded at the time.

Since that inspection, repairs have been carried out six times: on November 11, 2025, twice on November 13, 2025, and subsequently on January 14, February 25 and March 27, 2026, with the most recent work covering multiple areas.
