The Snaefell Mountain Railway will remain closed for the remainder of today and tomorrow to allow for repairs.
Isle of Man Railways said the overhead wires suffered storm damage due to the high winds on Sunday.
The railway said: “We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to resume normal service again on Wednesday September 11.”
