There will be a weekend closure of the New Castletown Road tomorrow and Sunday.
The road will be closed between Fort North roundabout, as far as the junction with Annacur Lane, Anagh Coar.
It will be closed from 6am tomorrow (February 1) until no later than 6pm on Sunday (February 2).
Douglas City Council has arranged the felling a number of their road side trees which has resulted in the closure.
These trees are suffering ash die back and are considered to be at risk of falling onto the highway.
The closures will be lifted once works are complete.
