The DoI Minister says it is too early to predict delays to bus schedules from the proposed introduction of more 20mph speed limits in Douglas and Onchan.
Dr Michelle Haywood outlined the situation in response to a question from Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas.
She said: “The consultation results in relation to Douglas and Onchan are still being analysed and no decisions have yet been made as to where 20mph zones might be implemented; as such it is difficult to predict any impact that this might have on bus timetables.”
She added that once the scheme is finalised, the DoI will collaborate with Bus Vannin to ensure compliance with the new limits.
