The Police say they will be responding to rising reports of antisocial behaviour in Onchan, if they have officers free to do so.
Residents have reported repeated incidents on social media this week with the lighter night seemingly drawing out worse behaviour.
The Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team’ said: “The lighter nights have unfortunately seen an increase in some anti-social behaviour in Onchan Village.
“It is disappointing to see the daily reports from residents who are repeat victims, with the actions of a small group of youths causing significant distress.
“Officers will be deployed to Onchan when available to do so and those identified committing offences will be dealt with accordingly.
“Parents will be asked to attend the Police Station to accompany their children.”
This comes just weeks after the Police said they were cutting their presence in the village and axing a community drop in service.
