Tile and bathroom company, Pacesetter, is celebrating 50 years of its Harris Terrace showroom.
Founded in 1975, the family-run business has helped generations of homeowners transform kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces.
Now led by third-generation owner Dan Simpson and MD Chris McAvoy, the firm has expanded into laminate and vinyl flooring while retaining its founding values.
“Reaching 50 years is an incredible milestone for any business, but especially for a family business,” said Dan.
“We’re incredibly proud of our history and grateful to the many customers who have supported us over the years. A lot has changed since 1976, but the one thing that hasn’t is our commitment to excellent customer service.”
“As a family business, relationships matter to us,” Dan added.
“Many of our customers are families who have been coming to us for years—sometimes even generations. That loyalty means everything, and it motivates us to keep delivering the same level of care and attention we always have.
“We’re extremely grateful to all the dedicated members of staff who have served as part of the Pacesetter team over the years and of course the customers without whom we wouldn’t be here today.”
The company says its consistent standards of service remain the key reason customers return, as it looks ahead to further decades serving the local community.
