Manx Care says it has been notified by Clear Pharmacy of its decision to close the Victoria Road pharmacy in Douglas.
Its final day of trading is scheduled for Thursday April 2.
Manx Care said: “Clear Pharmacy has advised that this is an operational decision for the company, based on its own business considerations.
“Manx Care’s priority is to ensure that patients continue to have access to pharmacy services.
“Clear Pharmacy operates a number of other branches in Douglas and Onchan, and patients will be supported to transfer their prescriptions and ongoing care as smoothly as possible.”
Saturdays
In addition, Clear Pharmacy has confirmed that its branches at St Paul’s Square in Ramsey and Church Road in Port Erin will no longer be opening on Saturdays with effect from Saturday March 14.
Both branches will continue to operate their normal Monday to Friday opening hours.
