Survey Launched on Future of Pharmacy Services

Residents are being asked for their views on pharmacy services as part of a new Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment for the Isle of Man.

The Department of Health and Social Care has opened a public survey to gather feedback from patients, carers and service users on the availability, accessibility and quality of both community and hospital pharmacy provision.

The findings will help shape an updated assessment, replacing the last PNA published in 2019.

The consultation covers services delivered by private pharmacies, Noble’s Hospital’s pharmacy team, pharmacists and technicians working in medical centres, and Manx Care’s Medicines Optimisation team.

The survey is available on the government’s consultation hub until Friday, March 13.
