Planning permission is being sought by a seafood company to store shellfish in a shipping container.
Island Seafare wants to keep the freezer next to its building and ‘integrate’ it into current operations in Port St Mary.
The company say the container is needed to ‘safely’ store shellfish at the required temperature to meet food safety regulations.
It adds there would be ‘minimal disruption’ to surroundings.
