The Southern Neighbourhood Policing team is appealing for witnesses after the toilet at Cringle Reservoir was targeted by vandals.
A sink and cistern have been damaged and a lintel dislodged as part of the costly damage.
Police said they were told of the damage on Tuesday, but it could have happened before then.
Enquiries are ongoing but Police would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the damage or are aware of when the damage was caused.
