Police have seized several items after breaking up an “unsupervised” party in Onchan attended by up to 50 young people.
The party resulted in a heavily intoxicated teenager being taken to hospital.
Officers who seized a large quantity of alcohol including six litres of vodka, multiple spirits, and beer, expressed concern over the lack of adult oversight.
A post said: “Due to a heavily intoxicated 16 year old, police came across a party of up to 50 young people.”
“We were all young once too and loved a get together with friends before Christmas, but when there are multiple bottles of beer, 6 litres of vodka, several bottles of spirits and much more, it becomes an issue.”
One teenager was found vomiting, placed in the recovery position, and later collected by his mother for hospital treatment.
Officers have removed abandoned property, including school items and a laptop, now held at Police Headquarters.
The post added: “If you think your items were left behind at Onchan, you can collect them in company with a parent where you will be spoken to by an officer about alcohol consumption and (in some cases) attitude.”
