The Isle of Man Constabulary are appealing for witness in relation to a road traffic collision (RTC) that happened yesterday (March 10) at midday in the area of Ballakermeen Road, Douglas.
The police have confirmed that the collision involved an ambulance, and several other vehicles.
As a result of the collision, one member of the public in the area at the time was injured, and has since been flown to the UK for further treatment.
The constabulary also confirmed that two members of staff from the ambulance service were taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment in regards to injuries they sustained.

The Isle of Man Constabulary are currently working with the Isle of Man Ambulance service to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
