Police have issued a warning to parents after reports of inappropriate behaviour at educational premises.
The Isle of Man Constabulary’s Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team said some parents had acted in ways “not suitable” for school grounds or any public setting.
Officers said they had been made aware of incidents involving some parents acting in a manner “not suitable” for school grounds or any public setting.
They urged anyone with concerns about their child to use the proper channels rather than confronting staff or causing disruption on site.
The force reminded the public that the Education Act 2001 makes it an offence to behave violently, quarrelsomely, indecently or disorderly on school premises, or to use obscene or threatening language. Breaches can result in a fine of up to £1,000.
Police said the reminder was issued to ensure school environments remain safe and respectful for pupils, staff and visitors.
