The Companies Registry online portal has generated significant income over the past five years, according to data released by the Minister for Enterprise.
In response to a question from John Wannenburgh, Tim Johnston revealed the fees generated from document supplies through the portal.
In total it raised: £152,495 in 2020, £160,534 in 2021, £153,498 in 2022, £162,108 in 2023, and £166,734 in 2024. A total of £795,369.
Mr Johnston stated: “The fees generated from the supply of documents through the Companies Registry online portal in each of the last five calendar years are set out below.”
He also clarified that purchased documents remain accessible for one month, during which users can download them for permanent retention.
The figures show a steady increase in revenue, peaking at £166,734 last year. The portal provides essential services to businesses and individuals requiring official company documents.
