Postal services to Canada have resumed following a national strike in the country.
Canada Post has moved from a national strike to rotating strikes, and postal services in Canada started to resume last night (October 15).
As a result, Isle of Man Post Office is now dispatching mail to Canada again.
Be Aware
Isle of Man Post Office ask customers to note the following:
- Acceptance: We are accepting all letters and parcels for Canada.
- Transit times: Expect extended delivery times while the backlog clears.
- Tracking: Scans may be irregular during recovery, and in strike-hit areas.
- Localised disruptions: Rotating strikes may pause processing and deliveries in specific cities.
It asks for people to label items clearly and provide complete customs data for goods to reduce delays.
Further updates will be posted to the Service Updates.
