Pride on the Quay has been cancelled due to this weekend’s poor weather forecast.
Isle of Pride had partnered with Extra Fancy Ltd and Heron & Brearley for the ‘Pride on the Quay’ event, set for August 30.
However, organisers said they have made the difficult decision to cancel due to the forecast of rain.
They said: “The weather forecast is serving chaos & just didn’t get the memo clearly! Safety first, sequins second.
“We’re heartbroken — outfits were ready, stalls were prepping, and the stage was waiting. But Pride isn’t just one day on the Quay: it’s every day we live loud, proud, and unapologetically ourselves.”
