If people working in government buildings are cold, they should put jumpers on, a minister has said.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall was asked about heating in government buildings by Jason Moorhouse MHK in this week’s Keys sitting.
Mr Crookall said that heating in government buildings is controlled by a management system that turns it on when it gets cold.
In response to questions from Mr Moorhouse, Mr Crookall said he didn’t believe it was necessary to inform civil servants when it would be coming on or going off.
He said: ‘I don’t think there is any need for that, if you’re cold, just put a jumper on.’
