The Infrastructure Minister has been asked to detail daily airport break and closure periods as scrutiny grows over flight disruptions and operating limits.
In a written question from Kate Lord-Brennan MHK, the Minister has been requested to outline the daily break and closure periods for both air traffic control services and other airport operations.
The question seeks clarity on the underlying reasons for these interruptions, asking whether they stem from industrial action, employment terms and conditions, regulatory requirements, or other operational considerations.

Dr Michelle Haywood MHK has also been asked to identify the longest uninterrupted period between 6am and 8pm during which flights are able to both depart and arrive.
In addition, the question calls for a comparison of this uninterrupted operating window with those at other airports.
The Minister is due to respond by January 20.
