FC Isle of Man will look to get back to winning ways on the banks of the Mersey as they face AFC Liverpool.
Paul Jones’ side, unbeaten in seven, drew 3-3 away at Pilkington last week, despite going ahead in the opening moments.
The Ravens are fifth in the NWCFL Premier Division and a win in the lunchtime kickoff would see them draw level on points with third placed Bury, at least for a few hours.
Their opponents this week are almost the dictionary definition of having a middling season, winning 12, drawing one and losing 11, form which sees them in 11th place.
Despite that, five of those losses have come in their last six games, the only win in that time being a 4-3 win over West Didsbury & Chorlton.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 12pm and is being placed at the former hunting ground of Manx striker Niall Cummins, Marine’s Rossett Park stadium in Crosby (not that one).
