A coin celebrating the traditional Manx sport of Cammag are now on sale.
The £2 coin forms part of the Christmas Collection.
Depicting the Lord of Mann Charles III on one side, the other shows two players playing cammag at St John’s.
The reverse also shows an image of two crossed Cammag sticks either side of the shape encasing the inscription “Nollick Ghenall Cammag”.
Traditionally one of the biggest sports on the island, Cammag was first referred to in the 18th century, but is believed to have been played long before then.
It only phased out of Manx life as football began to spread more onto the island, however in recent years an annual game is played at St John’s on Boxing Day.
