The Isle of Man Constabulary has issued a reminder to all Part 1 firearms certificate holders to submit their renewal applications by April 1.
Officers warn that anyone who fails to renew on time will be in unlawful possession of firearms that were previously held legally.
The responsibility to apply in good time rests entirely with the certificate holder.
Those who no longer wish to keep a certificate or possess their firearms are asked to contact the Firearms Licensing Administration on 631402 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm) or via Firearmsenquiries.DHA@gov.im.
