Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh wants to see Manx National Heritage withdraw a planning application for Laxey.
The planning application is for a proposed visitor kiosk at The Great Laxey Wheel.
Mr Wannenburgh will call upon the Tynwald court later this month to back him in asking MNH to instead consider a “replacement sympathetic design, appropriate for the largest working water wheel in the world”.
Members of the House of Keys and Members of the Legislative Council will meet on June 17.
