Manx Utilities says work is continuing to advance on the new treated service reservoir and pump station in Jurby, with all reservoir wall pours now complete.
All roof slab concrete panels have been successfully cast on site. Roof planks will shortly be lifted into place over the pump and valve gallery, enabling internal pipework to be set out.
Manx Utilities said the project would strengthen the area’s water infrastructure for years to come, providing greater resilience for existing homes and businesses while supporting future development and community growth.
It will also provide fire-fighting storage for the Fire & Rescue Service.

Persistent high winds and storm conditions during January and February restricted the number of crane operations that could be safely undertaken.
To keep the programme moving, the contractor added additional concrete-works resources and commenced pre-fabrication of the roof perimeter reinforcement to help recover time.
Completion is expected by the end of August, with the project remaining within budget.
