The Isle of Man Constabulary Roads Policing Unit are reminding the public to not park between yellow traffic cones.
The Constabulary said: “The yellow cones aren’t covert like our unmarked Roads Policing vehicles, you can’t miss them!
“The cones always serve a purpose, be it to keep traffic flowing, or for safety reasons! Parking between them doesn’t mean they don’t apply to you.”

The cones pictures are on the Old Church Road are to ensure the Isle of Man Department of Infrastructure can get their wagons and sweepers out of their yard, onto the course to keep the roads open outside of racing, or to allow them to open the roads after the racing.
Parking here can delay this process, so don’t be the person that delays the process (none of us, certainly those of us gagging for roads to open won’t be chuffed if it’s delayed by someones parking).
The force says it is ‘out and about patrolling these areas, and will take action’.
