A revised schedule has been published for the second day of the Southern 100 Races today (July 9).
Roads around the Billown course will close at 6:05pm, and are expected to open no later than 9:40pm.
The 1100CC Red Plates will be the first to set off at 6:18pm.
They will be followed on by the Lightweight Class Green Plates at 6:35pm.
Revised Schedule
The race organisers say they can run the event in the rain and wet providing it is safe to do so and there is no standing water.
Organisers are closely monitoring the weather conditions and will provide a further update if needed later today based on the assessment of the course.
