TT riders have trooped together to gather signatures on a t-shirt for a local lad after his original, signed one was stolen at the paddock.
Shaun Anderson heard the story and asked other riders to reach out and get involved.
On Facebook post, Shaun posted the above picture and commented: “A new signed Butterfields of Skipton shirt for Carson, thank you to everyone for all their help and support on this + to all the riders for signing”.
Stolen t-shirt
Local lad, Carson had spent a day over the weekend getting signatures from riders, to only have it pulled from him.
His dad, Henry Watson, appealed on Facebook for its return: “My son is devastated, some people know how to spoil the TT, some low life has stolen this shirt from him, he spent the day yesterday getting signatures from the riders.
“He had it over his shoulder and someone pulled if from him. I know its very unlikely but let’s keep a eye out for it, for him”. Please share for him”.
Although the original shirt hasn’t been returned, we still have good news thanks to the riders at the paddock.
Henry thanked all those involved in gather signatures, and most importantly a happy Carson who will soon be wearing his new shirt!
