Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place across Douglas as preparations are finalised for His Majesty The King’s visit to the island.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is advising residents, businesses and visitors to plan journeys in advance.
Closures begin on Bucks Road and Finch Road from Sunday (July 12), with further restrictions on Douglas Promenade, Summerhill Link Road, Hill Street, Myrtle Street and surrounding areas on Tuesday (July 14) to support security and event operations.
Parking suspensions will apply across central Douglas and the promenade. Motorists are reminded that vehicles must not enter or remain on closed roads, and cars left in suspended areas may be removed. Diversions will operate where required, and pedestrian access will remain available.
