Tromode Road in Douglas will be closed to through traffic this evening to allow the removal of a fallen tree.
The emergency closure will be in place from 6pm until no later than 10pm between the junction with Cronk Ny Greiney and the bridge near a property known as “The Falls”.
The Department of Infrastructure says the closure is necessary to facilitate the removal of a tree that has fallen across the adjacent river.
The road will be reopened as soon as the work has been completed.
