The carriageway in Castle Mona Avenue has now been prepared for resurfacing.
It is intended to lay the new running course of asphalt from a point adjacent to the entrance to the underground car park at Central Apartments, as far as the turning circle midway along the avenue, today.
All parking will be prohibited between the underground car park at Central Apartments as far as the turning circle part way along Castlemona Avenue, from 8:30am until 4pm.
There will be no vehicular access available along Castlemona Avenue during this time.
Vehicles may still be parked from the turning circle to the dead end of Castlemona Avenue, but they will not be able to leave or re-enter Castlemona Avenue during resurfacing operations.
Pedestrian access along the pavements will not be affected by these works.
