S100 Fanzone to Return Bigger

Southern 100 Racing has announced the return of the Bushy’s Fanzone to Castletown Square for the 2025 Southern 100 Road Races.

Organisers are promising a bigger and bolder celebration for the event’s 70th anniversary.

Sponsored by Bushy’s which is set to establish its new base in Castletown, the Fanzone will run from Monday July 7 to Thursday July 10, offering live entertainment, rider interviews, and big-screen racing action.

Highlights include live music from local artists, daily rider chat shows, and competitions with prizes including Southern 100 merchandise.

For the first time, King of the Roads will broadcast live race coverage on a big screen in the Square on Wednesday evening and throughout Thursday.

Thrilled

Rachel Palmer of Southern 100 Road Races said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to see the return of the Bushy’s Fanzone for 2025. Back bigger, better, and bolder as we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Southern 100 Road Races.

This marks the first year of an exciting new three-year partnership with Bushy’s, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have such a passionate and community-driven sponsor on board.

Martin Brunnschweiler added: “Bushy’s is delighted to cement our association with the ‘Friendly Races’ once again.

“With Bushy’s soon calling Castletown home, it feels even more special to bring the Fanzone to life right in the heart of the ancient capital.”

Enhance

The event will culminate on Championship Day (Thursday July 10) with an open-air prize presentation hosted by Chris Kinley and Phil Taubman, followed by a headline performance by Jamie Blackburn and a surprise finale.

Tony Brown, Chairman of Castletown Commissioners, said: “The Fanzone enhances the ‘Friendly Races’ and provides a wonderful venue to enable people to relax and enjoy this special week in our Town.”

The Fanzone is a collaboration between Southern 100 Racing, Castletown Commissioners, and ELS Group.

Gates open daily from 10am to 11pm.
