Screening by Craig’s Heartstrong and Cardiac Risk in the Young detected 18 heart issues and defects that will now go on to be resolved.
Created in memory of Craig Lunt, the charity has and continues to save lives on our island through its screenings and distribution of defibrillators.
The screenings at Noble’s Hospital saw 378 young men and women were screened across the weekend.
Chairman Paul Healey said: “Thank you to our amazing committee for all your help and Darren ‘Minty’ Corkill for your usual assistance. Heart screening works and we will continue to provide this service to our island 
“We even had a visit from the famous hospital cat…”
More screenings will be held in the new year.
