Police in the south of the island are asking drivers to take extra time this morning after a number of RTCs on the icy roads.
Buses are struggling in other parts of the island, particularly upper Onchan where services are not able to cover.
The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team said: ‘We have had a number of RTC’s reported already this morning in the beautiful South.
“Allow extra time for your journey and drive to the conditions; even if it is just slushy hail at your location that may change between there and your destination.
“Gritters have been out but they are not magicians, so please consider whether you really have to make the trip.”
