Taylor Kneen has claimed a superb silver in the Junior Boys’ 300m final at the English Schools Track and Field Championships in Birmingham.
This is a result widely regarded as one of the strongest performances by an Isle of Man athlete at the event.
Competing at the Alexander Stadium, Kneen bettered his winning heat time from earlier in the day, where he was the fastest of all 23 entrants.
His podium finish places him among the most successful Manx athletes ever to compete at these notoriously high‑standard championships.
It’s a standout achievement for the island and a landmark moment in Manx athletics.
