Cycling icon Sir Bradley Wiggins is set to hold an audience at the Gaiety Theatre, with tickets on sale now.
The former Tour de France champion will visit the island on March 25, 2027, as part of a promotional campaign for his new book. ‘The Chain’ discusses his glittering two-wheeled career, as well as more personal anecdotes and themes surrounding mental health and the difficulties he’s faced away from the arena of sport.
The 46-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best cyclists of his generation, achieving massive success across both road and track disciplines. Highlights include the aforementioned groundbreaking 2012 Tour de France success, a haul of eight Olympic medals, and a stunning pal mares in the velodrome, where he stormed to seven world titles.
