Some Postal Costs to Rise

The Isle of Man Post Office has outlined its price rises to come into effect from late January 2026, with the final date to be confirmed in the new year.

Earlier this year, IOMPO reported a profit of £3.85m for the year ending March 31 2025, a £1.25m increase on the previous year, with turnover steady at £25.1m.

It said the changes aim to ensure services remain sustainable and compliant with international regulations, reflecting increased operational costs and new Universal Postal Union requirements.

The standard local letter will rise from 90p to 93p, while a standard UK letter increases from £1 to £1.08.

Tracked parcel prices via Online Postage will be frozen. International mail services and pricing will be updated to align with new Royal Mail and UPU rules.

Stu Peters MHK, Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office, said: “These changes will help us keep services reliable, competitive and aligned with international standards.

“We are committed to adapting to customer needs and exploring compliant innovative solutions that support sustainability and convenience for our island community.”
