Manx dressage rider Helen Squires secured placings in all three of her classes at the Regional Championships, and took the win in the FSM Elementary Silver class.
Held at Mysercough College in Lancashire, Squires and Leonardo VII topped off the championships with victory in the Elementary Freestyle.
Squires said she was “on cloud nine” after a series of strong performances, praising Leonardo VII as “simply incredible” and adding that she felt “like the luckiest person in the world”.
She thanked supporters who attended or sent messages, and special thank you to Lynda Christian for her support, as well as Angus, Leo’s “emotional support travel buddy”.
Squires described it as a weekend she “won’t forget for a very long time” as she now looks ahead to her next challenge, a road trip to the National Championships.
The pair will head to the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships, taking place at Addington Equestrian, Buckinghamshire, from April 15 to 19.
