An impressive line-up of TT greats will feature in the John McGuinness Parade Lap.
McGuinness will be joined by fellow record breaking champions Michael Dunlop and Peter Hickman among other legends on Tuesday (August 25) following the Senior Classic TT, about 1.45pm.
The event celebrates the 30-year career of the 23 times-TT champion and showcases a display of bikes that encapsulate the McGuinness story.
Ten times TT winner Ian Lougher will kick off the event on the bike that started it all, the 1996 PBM Honda RS250.
Current TT Rider Liaison Officer Richard (Milky) Quayle will have the honour of riding the bike that took McGuinness to his first TT win in 1999, the Vimto Honda TSR250.
John Barton will follow on the 2000 Chrysalis BMW 720 that brought his second TT win.
Current TT lap record holder Peter Hickman will ride the Valmoto Triumph Daytona that Bruce Anstey rode to victory in the Junior 600cc TT in 2003.
All-time TT win record holder Michael Dunlop will ride the 2004 Yamaha R1, a fitting tribute given that his own Yamaha R6 has taken him to the top of the Supersport podium nine times.
Keith Amor rides McGuinness’s HM Plant Honda Fireblade STK that took him to second in the 2007 Superstock TT.
Jamie Coward is on the 2009 Padgetts Honda Fireblade STK.
John’s brother, Kurt, will ride the 2015 EMC2 Honda Fireblade STK.
Manxman Conor Cummins has the honour of riding the one-off gold-streaked Fireblade from McGuinness’s 100th TT start in 2022.
Ben Birchall will take the 2023 Honda Racing STK to the course.
The Morecambe Missile himself will sit atop the HM Plant Honda that famously brought him the first 130mph lap in TT history in 2007 – the bike usually takes pride of place in McGuinness’s hallway.
Bringing the collection full circle is Dean Harrison aboard John’s bike from this year’s TT, the 2026 Honda Racing 30th Anniversary Fireblade SBK.
