A local fundraiser took part in a high-energy Snappy Shopper Store Dash and gathered over £270 worth of goods.
The store dash, hosted by SPAR Anagh Coar, saw Sharon Coris racing for 60-seconds to gather essential items and treats for the Alzheimer’s Society.
From tea bags to sweet treats, every item collected goes directly to supporting those who are receiving support from the charity.

Sharon said: “I’m a dementia advisor here on the Isle of Man. We go out and support people who are living with dementia, and their families.”
The Alzheimer’s Charity is a UK-based organization committed to supporting individuals affected by dementia and their families.
It provides essential services, promote awareness, and fund research to help find a cure and improve care.
Sharon added: “We have groups; love to move, and singing for the brain so that people can come out and socialize and be more mobile and help with cognition.”
After her run, Sharon secured an extremely impressive £272.28 worth of goods taken back and used to help support those who rely on the charity.
The Snappy Shopper store dash initiative is part of the companies broader commitment to giving back to local communities and proudly supporting causes that make a difference.
